The Town of Sturbridge invites sealed bids for the Demolition of Buildings at Camp Robinson Crusoe in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. The work on this project consists of the complete removal of the twenty existing buildings.

Bids will be received at the Town Administrator's Office, 308 Main Street, Sturbridge, MA 01566 until 2:00 p.m. prevailing time, Tuesday August 21, 2007, at which time they will be opened and read aloud.

Plans, specifications and bid forms may be obtained by contacting the Town Administrator's Office, Town of Sturbridge, 308 Main Street, Sturbridge, Massachusetts. Persons desiring plans should contact the Authority in writing, in person, or by calling the office at (508) 347-2500 and indicate the number of sets to be picked up. Documents will be available beginning Friday, August 3, 2007, Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m.-3:00p.m. The Town Hall is closed daily from 12:00p.m. to 1:00p.m.

There will be a pre-bid conference and site visit at 30 Shattuck Road, Sturbridge, MA (across from I-84 on-ramp) on Wednesday, August 8, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid price. The successful bidder must be DCAM certified and must furnish a performance bond and a payment bond. Prevailing wages apply to this project.
